About
Alexis Yoo is an aspiring writer based in New York. She has been working on her debut novel, Love Child, since 2017. It has undergone many evolutions through the Columbia MFA program, including a year-long novel workshop with Victor LaValle, and a research trip to Tokyo supported by a Columbia travel grant. She also enjoys writing personal essays and auto-fictional short stories.
She has taught imaginative fiction through Columbia's pre-college program and was a volunteer writing instructor at NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
